Microsoft To Slash CRM Hosting Subscription Fees For Channel Partners

Microsoft (NSDQ:MSFT) will cut by 40 percent the subscription licensing fees it charges channel partners that host its Dynamics CRM applications. The price cut, effective Jan. 1, 2008, will turn up the competitive heat against Salesforce.com and other suppliers of on-demand CRM apps. This is a very good move from Microsoft as it gives solution providers a good foundation to compete against Salesforce.com and other players with a SaaS solution.
