Rising costs, product piracy could be taking its toll on China's competitiveness, according to American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.China may be losing its competitive advantage, mainly because of rising costs, according to a survey of companies compiled by the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. I have seen this trend happening on multiple fronts and identified when discussing with business executives doing business in China. Cost inflation, people jumping from one job to the other because of better pay has become a real problem in China and I do not foresee this to change any time soon.
